As this was the first real show of the season we decided not to have a stand here, but instead to all meet up, walk round together and have a ‘UGS Fun Day’ this was also an advantage as we didn’t need to get up at silly o clock, clean the cars and queue for hours to get in!!
The show had moved location to Donnington Park and it seemed to work well, there was plenty of trade stores to spend your money and plenty of girls much to MarkyB’s and Andy306’s delight!! The club stands were also to a high standard with many ex feature cars and some I’m sure we will be seeing in the mags soon!
All in all we had a great day and it made a nice change to take the show in as a member of the public rather than an exhibitor.
