It started as a damp cold Friday morning at around 5am with everyone meeting up outside the NEC. This was to be the biggest stand so far for UGS with bmwgirlie, Claire, Andy306, Daveo, Ste, DonnyClio, Donny206, puntoboy, c1v1c_pimp and fletch all showing their cars. Then we were all called into the show area, so it was a race for the gate to get the best place! We managed to get a really good spot, so we organised the cars in a staggered line. Claire, not being able to reverse park got Andy306 to do it, but a photographer wanted him to do a few doughnuts first! Andy gave Claire a smile, rammed it into first and floored it... for the rest of the weekend you could still make out a think black ring of rubber on the tarmac!
By the time the cars were clean the show had started with people flooding in. The show was huge with its three main halls, with some of the best cars in the country from Saxos to Lamborghinis, the car of the show had to be Jamie Shaw’s extreme Porsche 911 Turbo on the Carisma stand.
The whole show was rammed with traders showing off their new products and demo cars, with of course plenty of fine ladies.
Saturday night brought the Max Power after show party which was an all night session for the traders and some of the top babes in the country - some of UGS were lucky to be invited!
By far the biggest show of the year, which was only let down slightly be the weather, bring on 2005!!
