Well Max Power have always been known for putting on the biggest modified car event of the year, and this year was no exception! For most UGS show car owners the event was a long weekend, for some stretching from Thursday lunchtime till Sunday evening. Not to worry though as we managed to reserve a large spot outside, with a total of 3 UGS members getting into the TOP 100 (well done to little-punty-gt, hitman2k and foxylady).
By the time the cars were cleaned on Friday the doors opened and hordes of like minded car fans came flooding in. Walking around in a complete daze and stunned by some of this year's cars, including a TVR Tuscan in carbon fibre worth £250,000!!
Saturday was only let down by the rain, but still didn’t manage to put off the punters. That night we all went to have a drink and a good time in the Hilton Hotel across the road, as usual UGS doing their best to keep the party going long into the early hours!
Sunday turned out to be the best day weather wise and was quite hot, better for the models on all accounts which again attracted people to the show. Jamie Shaw was there again with Carisma and his wonderful TVR, not forgetting the brilliant DJ Riche Don! Many other familiar faces were present from Fuel to Streetlife TV.
All in all an excellent weekend that we'll never forget.
