We arrived in Northampton on Friday morning, where we stopped to get the beer and food for the weekend. After getting loads of beer, burgers & buns we headed off to Billing Aquadrome. Once we were in the first thing to do was set up the tents, including Andy306’s which was more of a circus tent!
We then took the cars round to where the stand was going to be and to set up the marquee and the UGS banner, after a bit of a polish it was back to the camping area to get some food and start on the beer, ready for the Friday night party! We were all hammered and had a good time, there wasn’t much going on at the party so we decided to go to the fair across the lake.
We managed to get up fairly early, and then it was just a case of giving the cars a final clean followed by a wonder around the other clubs and trade stands. We were happy when we were asked to move to a better spot for the Sunday, as our original spot was fairly quiet. Saturday night was filled with the foam party, and the adult tent!
Sunday morning was really hot, so we spent most of the day under the marquee keeping cool and drinking coke! I'll end this by saying it was a good weekend had by all, and brilliant weather as well.
