The show was moved this year from Billing Aquadrome, which had proved to be a quality venue! The site at Newark was a fair bit smaller, and having never visited it before we all got lost! We did eventually arrive though, and got our tents all set up for another quality weekend of partying and sunshine.
The show, due to the size of the venue a bit smaller than last year and in all fairness didn’t offer anything new. There were however good club stand turnouts from around the country, including a strong showing from UGS. Sprits were livened up in the evenings with BBQs and entertainment provided in the dance tent, with the Miss Modified Nationals competition on Saturday night.
The only thing that let the weekend down was the weather, which was on and off, and although is was sunny high winds took over on Saturday, leading to a very dusty showground.
