We all set out for Santa Pod the home of one of the biggest shows of the year Ultimate Street Car, we arrived to be greeted by thousands of modded cars and campers and straight away we knew this weekend was going to be a bit special. As soon as we drove through the gates the fields either side of us were rammed with tents and cars, this is going to be a long walk to the strip we thought, but the stewards kept waving us all through, eventually we got directed into V.I.P camping right next to the track – RESULT.
We set about putting up the tents and parking the cars up whilst having a few beers and a chat to our neighbours. When we were settled we went to the local Tesco and stocked up on food and booze for our night time party, we also got a paddling pool whilst we were there as it was so hot. When we got back we had a look round the show area, watched a few drags of the racing and then went back to our camping area where the lads got the bbq going and the girls sat in the UGS pool, the night was finished off with a trip to the onsite dance tent and fair and again a viewing of the South Park Movie.
Andy 306 missed the whole show, he went to sleep as soon as we put the tents up and woke up in time for us to leave Sunday morning!!!!
